Jake McClurg '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' 3" dual threat Quarterback from Keller Central High School, a 6A high school, in Keller, Texas. I have led my team to playoffs the past two years as Varsity quarterback. As a Sophomore, I started Varsity basketball and played Varsity baseball. At the end of my 2013 football season, I was unanimously chosen as District 4-5A Offensive Newcomer of the Year and I have been named Player of the Game numerous times. Over the past two years as starting Quarterback, I have passed and rushed for close to 3,500 yards.This year, so far, I have 2,388 total yards with 17 TDs; 1,671 passing yards, 704 rushing, and 13 receiving. My GPA is an 88.4 and I have have taken at least 1 AP class every semester. Ideally, I would like to play at a Division I or II school with a strong football tradition. I would like to make an impact on my team while growing and developing into my full potential.
