Personal Statement
Football has been my passion since grade school. I play year round on fall football leagues, select teams and 7 on 7 spring leagues. My parents encouraged and ensured that I participated in all sporting activities growing up. I was the athlete of the year in middle school for demonstrating excellence, dedication and an exemplary work ethic. Football, however, is the sport I enjoy the most and I am most passionate about. I enjoy watching the game, but most importantly, I love the camaraderie on the filed, in the locker room and the daily life lessons I have learned from my football family.
Academically, I currently have a 3.57 GPA and I have secured a Patient Care Technician certificate this year. I have also been accepted into the Emergency Medicine Technician program for my Senior year. I am committed to excelling academically as well as in football. As a result of my achievements I was nominated by my high school for the National Youth Leadership forum in Medicine for demonstrating leadership potential, academic promise and an interest in the field of medicine.
My passion and commitment to football is something I am immensely proud of and will be obvious when I step onto the field. In 2019, I was awarded All District honors for tight end. In 2020, I was awarded All District honors for inside receiver. Football has instilled in me discipline, perseverance and humility. I am looking forward to being part of a program where my academic and football goals and desires will be nourished.
My ultimate goal is to play football in college while securing a great education. I look forward to a college experience that will allow me to continue my growth academically and personally. Football has already taught me a lot, my appetite and thirst for more life lessons on and off the field coupled with the unwavering support of my family and friends will ensure my devotion to the sport and the desire to excel at the highest level remains my priority.
