My name is Trenton Dickey and I am currently 17 years old, 6’4" tall, and weigh 240 lbs.  I will be a senior at my old school the Splendora Wildcats where I played my 7th thru 9th grade years.  I was recently playing for the Hardin Hornets where  I earned a starting position on both Offense and Defense for the Hornets Varsity Football Team my Sophomore year as a Tight End and Middle Linebacker.    My most recent position as a junior on the offensive side  is Tight End/Running Back where I recorded 9 touchdowns and over 500 yards of total offense.  I was the only player selected 1st Team All-District Tight End, and also earned  1st Team All-District Middle Linebacker in which I led the team with 108 tackles .  As a Sophomore on Varsity, I earned 1st Team All-District Tight End starting in all 11 games and 2nd Team All-District Middle Linebacker while only starting the last 7 games.  I have collected over 800 yards total offense with 12 touchdowns and 179 tackles in my two years on varsity.  My  goal is to continue making the honor roll in academics while working to raise my SAT score to over 1200.  I enjoy volunteering as much as I can in youth sports as well as clubs at school.  I am working on being a leader on and off the field and setting the example for the kids that look up to me.  It is important for me not only to push myself on the field, but in the classroom as well.  Currently I am enrolled in all Honor classes where I have maintained an A/B average which I am striving to have all A's.

As an athlete I am determined to be successful on and off the field.  When I am not playing sports or training for them I enjoy volunteering as a coach in football and basketball.  In my spare time I have been an assistant coach at the little league level, and finished two seasons as the teams RB/LB and special teams coach.  I truly enjoy teaching younger kids what I have learned from my coaches and from all the camps that I have attended.  I have been told that a few of my best traits are that I am extremely coachable, with a high football IQ, the ability to learn everyone' else's position not just my own, mature, driven, respectful, dedicated, a team player, versatile, open to all positions, and  to never turn away the opportunity to learn.  My goal and ambition is to play football at the collegiate level and earn a degree where I can later strive to play Pro ball or pursue my dream of coaching.

I just recently committed to TCU

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
