Personal Statement

I am a  6'0, 190 pound outside linebacker and running back from Holland Tx. I run the 40 in 4.63 seconds.  I have started on the Salado Varsity Football team for 2 years and earned 2nd team all-district 3A this season, and Honorable Mention Defensive End for 2010.  I was a team Captain this year, as a junior, and the only junior selected by my team.  I possess a "reece the beast" attitude and have the ability to lead teammates with my intensity.  I was also nominated as Player of the Week,  by the Killeen Daily Herald this season. It is my dream to play college football, I feel I have much to offer not just athletically but also my work ethic and integrity are second to none. I am very coachable, and willing to do whatever it takes to go to the next level.  I aspire to be the best human being I can be, success comes from within and I am focused on being successful.   I have A 3.5 GPA.

Im looking for a institution that has great academics and a good balance between the field and the classroom.  I am most interested in studying  architechture/engineering.  I love math and it is my strong subject.  I am willing to go to any school, but I love my homestate of Texas and would prefer to stay closer to home if possible.

My family has recently moved to Holland, Texas where I will finish my Senior year. Holland is 1A, and we are looking forward to a great season with our new head coach Brad Talbert.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
