Personal Statement
My freshman year- starting qb-3rd game, I severely tore my labrum- 95% -and dislocated my shoulder. The surgeon said “on the scale of a clock, I tore it from 12 to 11 o’clock.” I had surgery. It was doubtful that I could return as a quarterback much less to be able to throw long distance ever again. It was two steps forward and one step back for two years until I was fully healed. I trained daily before and after school and persevered. It was not only physical but also mental toughness. I was determined to come back even stronger. My junior year, I was back 110% and earned the starting QB Varsity position. This taught me through pure dedication and hard work that I can accomplish anything that I set my mind on regardless the odds. Along with my sports, I have attained A’s all throughout high school. I am looking for a coach who wants to help me develop my game to the next level where I can lead my team to a championship.
My brother played on LSU National Championship team '20 (2017-2020 LSU ) and my grandfather played for A&M.
