Personal Statement
I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and loved going to LSU tiger football games. I still do! The excitement and energy of LSU's death valley stadium drew me to the game. I started snapping the football when I was 12 years old and realized I had a talent and a niche because no one else could do it. So, I stuck with it and created my own circle target from a 24-inch circular wire left over from an old Christmas wreath (wrapped duct tape around it) and hung it on the fence. I snapped in my backyard almost every afternoon. In 8th grade, my parents bought me a professional target that caused less damage to the fence and allowed me to fine tune my long snapping skills even more.
I want to study pre-med in college. After college, I want to go to dental school and, eventually, be an oral surgeon. I interned with an oral surgeon summer 2019 and will be interning again this summer (2020).
I am a motivated, focused, competitive team player with high goals. I am a leader on and off the field and always seek to add value to the team whether at long snapping or whatever position the coach needs me. I love the game and the hard work. When I am not playing football, I love hanging out with my family, friends and dogs, and playing the guitar and bass clarinet.
