Christopher Dillard Junior '24 Recruiting Profile

 I am not only doing this for myself but for my family ,city and those who can’t do it themselves or are afraid to. I want to be the person who shows them that there is hope for them in the athletic world.  There isn’t a lot of options here in Laredo and I want to change that by showing everyone that if you get out of your comfort zone and work hard enough, you will succeed. In my eyes there is no possible way of failing, I might fall but right after, I am getting up and going at it even harder, faster and smarter. People have always doubted me and have always told me I will never make it but that just gives me more hope and fuel to keep going so I can not only prove them wrong but motivate others. I came from poverty which helps influence my decision to be the first person in my family to go to college/university. I will change the game of football and dominate. I am different and I will prove that. Let me show you that I’m the best at what I do.
