I have always been the type that’s eager to learn more on and off the field. I have worked hard to maintain my grades during all of my hardships. I was diagnosed with dyslexia at the end of my first grade year. My parents got me the help I needed to learn how to cope with it and learn the skills I needed to handle my schoolwork. With the help of my tutors and my parents and my determination, I have been able to stay on the A/B Honor Roll while taking a Pre-AP class. The major hurdle I have been facing is dealing with my biological father and his PTSD. As stressful as this is, I refused to let this take me off of my path of where I want to go. I am focused on going to college and I will do everything I need to do to get there no matter what. I have always been and always will be a team player. I believe in putting 100% effort during practice and my games. I push my teammates to do the same by helping when I can and pumping them up. When my coaches needed me to put in extra work, I did with no hesitation. I have learned a lot from my coaches and I try my best to put what I’ve learned into action. I pray that I can continue on this path and make my family proud.
