Personal Statement
I have had an awesome SENIOR year so far as a Varsity Captain of my team and as a starting Middle Linebacker for the second year on the Rouse High School Varsity team, 5A and to moving forward into college in 2023. I want to continue to play football in college, not just for a scholarship, but because I love the game, love to be part of a team and be coached, and will continue to train to reach my dream of playing in the NFL. My junior year, I held the highest stats for our defense, was named MVP Defense, and obtained a school record for most quarterback sacks and solo tackles in a game. I also scored three touchdowns as a fullback and one scoop and score from a fumble. I was awarded All-State Honorable Mention and All-District 1st Team. I also played special teams/kick off return.
I was a starter on both offense and defense for my freshman year in High School and moved up to varsity for my sophomore year as a starter on special teams and a middle linebacker. Fall 2021, we were undefeated for in district games with only one loss in a non-district 6A game. We won district, area, and were regional finalist at 5A. In 2020, we won all of our district games and were regional finalists. My freshman year in 2019, our freshman team was undefeated. So far in 2021, we have won all of our in District Games and hold a record of 6-1.
I spend my free time weight training and attending camps to become a better football player. I want to play in college and to study computer information systems/mechanical engineering. I make good grades (3.9 Core) and take PreAP courses. I always like to challenge myself to be better on and off the field.
What makes me different is that I have a strong will to be a successful football player and student. I want to achieve the highest grades I can so I can be successful. I work hard every day to be the best player on the field and execute what my coaches tell me to do the best I can. I also work at the PAC (Performance Athletic Center) and am a member of FCA.
