My name is Cooper Sparks. I am 16 years old and a Sophomore at Medina High School in Medina, Texas. I have been on the Varsity Football Team since my freshman year.
I currently have a 91% average in school. I am active in football, a member of the Student Council, Business Professionals of America, and the school yearbook staff.
I stand 6’4” and weigh 244 lbs. My positions on the football team are offensive left tackle, right tackle and center. My strengths on the field are pass blocking and snapping the ball.
My freshman year I was named to the All District Honorable Mention Offensive Line. My sophomore year I was named to the All District Second Team Offensive Line. I believe I bring strength, leadership, and encouragement to our team. I have played tackle football since I was on the Super Bowl winning YMCA team. My love for the game has only deepened from then until now.
My goal for the future is to continue to perform my best during my last two years of high school. I feel my performance will be a key part of us having a winning season. Upon graduation from high school, I would like to continue my education and possibly become a Geography teacher and coach. As well, I would like to play football at the college level. I feel I will be an asset to the team and be willing to work hard to gain a position on the team and be a positive influence.
I am open to a variety of schools in or around Texas. However, I would never rule out any college prospect if they are willing to accept me into their program.
