Personal Statement
I have played football since 3rd grade. Within that time, I have played a variety of positions. I enjoyed learning and mastering the requirements and demands of each new position. It has helped me grow as an athlete as well as determine what positions I am strongest in.
My younger brother has always been my inspiration for doing my best. He loves sports, but was born with a disability that confines him to a wheelchair. Therefore, he cannot play the sports that he loves. Football is one of those sports. He does not miss any of my games and is one of my biggest supporters.
What makes me a good fit for your team? I am a coachable athlete with a strong desire to compete at the highest possible level. Teamwork, leadership and work ethic are all qualities that I believe are essential for a successful team and these are qualities that I pride myself in.
Academically, I hope to graduate at the top of my high school class. I am currently taking the STEM route for graduation. It is important to me, not only from an athletic stand point, but academically, to attend a solid, respected and well-rounded college/university.
