Lamarquis Jefferson '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is LaMarquis Jefferson and I am an Alumni of Navasota High School, in Navasota, Texas. A champion to the Class 3A State Champions in 2012,and 4A State Champions in 2014,  Navasota Rattlers. I am a hardworking Christian student athlete, that has love for the game of football.  I have been playing competitive football since I was 5 yrs. old.  With all of the years of being a coachable athlete, and being eager to learn; I am ambitious to take my talents to the highest level.   My knowledge and love of the game is unbelievable. I am a team player and a leader on and off the field.  At a very young age my parents instilled in me to adhere to directions and understand consequences.  This has kept me respectful, coach-able, level headed, and  taught me how to maintain a honest approach in all areas of my life.   I am a firm believer that you should always give 100%, if not, it is a waste of time.  Education is priority, and I choose to take pride in my work.  I understand that you can't go far without an education. I am a lover of God, and every chance I get I want to be in worship services. My parents introduced me to God at a young age, and I know that the man above comes first.  I take pride in my abilities and in my body. I work hard in the weight room year round, so that I can be in top shape.  I am a firm believer that one day my work ethics, the support of my family, and my desire to achieve and be successful will pay off. Until then, I will continue to be coach-able, hard working, respectful, demonstrate good sportsmanship, take corrective criticism, be unselfish, and be a great teammate on and off the field.
