Personal Statement
First off, my current goals are to graduate high school and to take my varsity football team, PSJA North Raiders, to the state level championships! I have always dreamed of becoming state champions, however, being the captain for defense has really motivated me to achieve this goal above all others. After completing high school, I am looking forward to continuing my passion for sports, more specifically football and track, as well as to pursue my collegiate goal of earning my degree in Architecture. In the meantime, I have begun a few courses in welding, another skill I hope to develop and become successful in.
Passion, pride, and respect are but a few traits that a serious recruiter would not want to pass up when learning about me. I have been developing my craft in sports, such as tackle football and even martial arts, since I was five years old! Recently, I have had the opportunity to participate in University of Texas at San Antonio and Texas A&M Kingsville 2016 football camps. Not only do I bring a life-long, seconded-nature experience to a team, but I also am versatile, coach-able, humble, and successful in accomplishing what I reach for. District Champion for soccer in 2011 as well as track & field in 2015, Most Valuable Player for football in 2012, just to name a few, all while maintaining a 3.6 GPA overall and I will not stop there!
I would not have gotten as far as I have without the love and support of my family and mentors! Every person in my life has put their faith and resources into being there for me on this journey and it is my intention to deliver the best athletic scholar I can become for them. Their dedication to see me succeed is what inspires me and, in truth, is what makes me a great candidate for a collegiate level team!
