Daetren Hill '21 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was a little kid I've had a dream of playing college football and playing professionally. Since then, I've worked and worked in order to surpass my friends and teammates to reach the next level. Football has become a huge part of my life. The game has taught me lots of things and truly makes me happy. Friends, teachers, and coaches have asked me what I do in my free time and often don't believe me when I tell them I lift weights, throw the football, or anything else football related. The reason being because I've devoted a part of my life to the game. Playing at the next level is something that I'd get up at 6 A.M to lift weights for, stay after school for 2 hours to study film, and work hard in the classroom to pass with high grades. If an athletic program were to offer me a scholarship, I'd be the athlete to put in work everyday because it's something that I would be honored and glad to do. I may not be the biggest or fastest or the type of Quarterback big colleges look for, but I know that God has a plan for me and my time will come, and until then, I'll just keep putting in work in and out of the classroom.
