I am not the typical running back. . I am 5’8, 175 pound Junior that is quick and shifty with 4.5 speed and the ability to change direction at any given moment. I love to see the facial expressions of the defensive players when I create a move that makes them miss a tackle. I started playing football at 10 years old for the Garland Pee Wee Football League. I have won several metals and trophies during my pee wee, and middle school years. As a 9th grader I was the Freshman Team Captain for the Rowlett Eagles. I was moved to the varsity team as a sophomore.
Last summer I was awarded the MVP of Running Backs for the National Underclass Combine and received an invitation to the NIKE Training Camp at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. This year I was selected as a 1st team All-District Running Back for District 10-5A,VYPE Magazine Dallas Area MVP-Readers Choice . Also, I was selected as a Peer Leader and given tools on how to identify bullying on campus. I lead my teammates and classmates by example. I follow the rules and respect my coaches. I believe that a player and coach relationship is built on trust, hard work and commitment. I am committed to do my best on and off the field and make an immediate impact.
I am open to attend a college that will offer me the possibility of a quality education, financial or gift assistance, a safe and fun campus atmosphere, opportunity for internships, a diverse student body, and the opportunity to play for a championship. I currently want to major in Communications; I want to be able to create commercials one day. My athletic goals are to make an immediate impact for the college that affords me the opportunity to play football, play in college bowl games, and go onto play NFL football. I have always been a winner in life and on the field, and I want to be a part of a program that will allow me to succeed.
