Personal Statement

I have been playing football since I was four years old, and been a starting QB since 2nd grade. It has always been a goal of mine to play college football. I grew up watching Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators. His dual threat ability, heart and determination have inspired the way I play.

I have worked hard to be a college QB by improving my speed, strength and size, and I also have an excellent understanding of the game. I am coachable, hard working, smart, and I continue to strive to get better.  Since I am not the biggest player on the field, I have learned to work harder than anyone else.  I plan to go to college and graduate with a BS in Finance, and will be an asset to your program academically and athletically.

If you're concerned about my size, studies have shown that short QB's do just as well if not better than the tall ones when we are given a shot.  Though it's harder to evaluate my command of the mental aspects of the game, that is my strength, and in practice what is going on between your QB's ears is a lot more important than how far they are from the ground.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
