I am 6'3 kicker/punter at Southlake Carroll Senior High School in Southlake, Texas. I currently have a 3.6 GPA at one of the top ranked schools for academics and sports in my state. I have also volunteered my time for the football team to work the drone filming practices for the coaches to view, and I currently have over 100 hours of volunteer time. I also am a member of Gateway church.
My parents have enforced hard working qualities in me to work hard in everything I do. They both have worked through adversity to become very successful people in their businesses/careers. My dad has been a mentor to me on the football field as well. He played soccer at Notre Dame for four years and was a walk-on kicker earning a full scholarship to play football his fifth year. He was offered many opportunities to play professional soccer abroad, but wanted to succeed in football at his Notre Dame. He played Arena Football for many years after his college career. He has taught me many aspects of football, giving me further knowledge of the mental approach to the game. Both my parents have instilled in me hard work, commitment, determination, and focus needed to play sports as a student athlete. With this lesson they have shown me, I have been able to become a successful athlete as well as a student One of my goals is to earn a scholarship to play football at a college or university as a collegiate athlete.
I also am aware that I must become the best athlete that I can be and stand out from others to earn a scholarship. I will strive to attend a school that highly values academics as well. I would like to attend a school that I could see myself contributing my first year there as a freshman. I feel it is important to go to a school where I have a great relationship with the coaches, the players and my professors.
