Being raised on a working ranch outside of our small rural town has not only helped shape me as an individual but has also helped shape my character. From a young age I was taught that you must work hard to achieve your goals and it may not always come easy. This work ethic is what drives me to work hard in the weight room to better my skills and to put in the extra hours in the classroom to help me achieve my academic goals of continuing on to college and receiving my degree.

I am fortunate to be able to be involved in such a dominant high school football program that has taught me dedication, commitment to teamwork, and leadership skills. Being chosen as a team captain and being the vocal leader on the football field feeds my intensity during a game, but being able to lead in the classroom to my piers is what makes me feel most accomplished.

I’m looking for a college that I can not only represent with dignity and integrity as a student athlete, but a University that I also can continue to support and help grow both academically and athletically in the future. I believe that I can bring a positive impact to your college program with my work ethic, leadership skills, determination to succeed, and dedication to the team.
