I want to receive a Bachelor's Degree in construction science/engineering. I am in National Honor Society and maintain a high average in my classes.
Last year was my first year as the deep snapper for my high school football team. At the end of my season, my coach said I was "pretty good at getting the ball back there; probably good enough for college." That peaked my interest in pursuing this further because I didn't know what made a snapper "good" and took the opportunity to attend my first long snapping camp over this past summer. Here's one of the things Chris Rubio of Rubio Long Snapping had to say about me, "Corey did well during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He has a tremendous frame and looks like a college athlete right now, let alone in one more year. Starting form is very good and he has good accuracy. Body is so big that if he can use his whole body, the snap speeds will be at college level in no time."
One of the things I hear from my coaches, regardless of sport, is that I am coachable.
I received some good feedback from a Division I college recruiter that came to my school to watch my deep snapping. I truly believe that with a little more practice, I will be a very solid player at this position at the next level.
