Plain and simple I just love playing football, and I want to continue doing it at the collegiate level. I want to be part of a team that works hard everyday to accomplish everything we set out to do. I can and will play any position to make my team successful. I am dedicated to working hard and doing whatever I have to do to better myself and better my team.
My name is Hunter Book, I'm from a small town in Texas about an hour north of Dallas. I live at home with both my parents (the most influential people in my life) and attend Tom Bean High School where I maintain a 3.76 GPA and have lettered in athletics every year since my freshman year. I pride myself on being able to play any position that I'm called on to play. My 6'4 205 pound frame does nothing but help that pride. While I played quarterback this past season I plan on becoming a full time Tight End and Middle Linebacker, while also continuing to get a few reps at QB. I love getting physical on the field, one thing that I think sets me apart from others is toughness, there's no other feeling like getting down in the trenches and firing off and hitting somebody one on one.
This past summer I've spent my days growing stronger and improving my athleticism. I love working hard and nothing is more satisfying then seeing that hard work pay off. I expect to see all my hard work pay off this spring when I sign my letter of intent to go play college football and reaching my life long goal.
In looking for a school that fits me, I have focused mainly on how close it is to home and how strong their football tradition is. I am also in the search for high academic schools, as I want to further my education and someday become a Math Teacher and a football coach. I am obviously open to any colleges willing to help me reach my goals and award me with a spot on their football team.
