As a son of parents who both retired from the military, I have gone to school in 9 different school districts and lived in 6 different states. I have been to three different schools in 2 years. Moving around so much, I have seen and experienced a spectrum of schools, sports, and communities. Playing sports has been the only way I have been imbedded in a community because that is the only way anybody really interacts with me. Because I have played on so many teams, I have learned a wide variety of terminology, playing styles, and positions on both offense and defense. The positions I have learned and played are QB, TE, Slot, WR, Kicker and Punter, OLB, FS, and DE. With the ability to adapt and learn a new position for every team, I have been the guy to fill the spot that is needed. With all of this in mind, I have learned that my passion is OLB and WR, especially since my wing span is 75 inches.
My academic goals are to be in the top 10% of my high school class and major in something related to STEM in college. My freshman year, I started on the freshmen football team and practiced with Varsity all the way to State. I was also a starter on the JV soccer team. My sophomore year, I played on Varsity primarily as DB and LB, with some kicking and punting. For Varsity track, I competed in 110m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles, and the 400m relay. I qualified for District in the 110m Hurdles. My Junior year, I played OLB, strong side. After football season I played Varsity Soccer, primarily midfielder, and scored one goal. For Varsity track, I did the Pole Vault and ran the 400m, qualifiying for regionals in the 400m. While I enjoy these things in school, at home I enjoy splitting wood by hand, blacksmithing, welding, working out, which are very physically demanding activities and require discipline, patience, and attention to detail.
