Personal Statement

I am 6'2, 195 and run about a 4.2 pro-agility, and a 4.55 40, am working very hard in the weight room on strength and on the field on speed and quickness. I have a personal trainer to work on speed right now. In the weightroom, I am one of the strongest ones and is always going 100%. I am also up at the weightroom on my own all the time trying to get stronger. I will be the first one there and the last one to leave. That is just my mindset. "If your not going to give a 100%, then why be there?" So i give my all 100% of the time. This year I played wide receiver, both the inside and outside positions, where I was a first team All-District selection. I had 38 catches with six touchdowns on a team that finished 8-3. I had 5 catches for over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns in our Bi-District playoff game against Gainesville. My desired major is Sports Medicine, to become a Physical Therapist or a personal trainer. My athletic goal is to play football in college. I would prefer to play for a highly competitive team with the chance of playing for conference championships and/or bowl games. I am willing to do whatever the coaches feel is necessary for me to play at the highest level, including redshirting my freshman year. I believe I can get bigger, stronger, and faster in a college athletic program.
