Christopher Demny '16 Recruiting Profile

     It is my goal to compete at the collegiate level.  I am a dedicated athlete demonstrating leadership by maintaining a high grade-point average, having a strong work ethic and setting high standards of excellence for the teams I represent.  My athleticism is very versatile as I am placed in positions based on need.  I was a starting running back and receiver Freshman year  until becoming QB after the Senior was injured during the second game.  Under my first head coach I also saw playing time on defense.  My sophomore year I remained the starting QB under a new head coach running the spread offense.  Continuing as a junior, I was a critical offensive player therefore given limited opportunity to play defense and was used mostly during anticipated passing plays at safety.  I was selected as the only junior team captain by the coaches and my teammates this past season.  Was the unanimous 1st Team selection All District QB.
      I am the oldest of five having four younger brothers and I am driven to set a positive example to them and the school community to which I belong.  I spend time watching film, lifting weights, attending camps and throwing with my family and friends to continue to get better.  I also play basketball, baseball and track.  I played tennis until it was no longer possible to attend practice.  I enjoy hunting and fishing and I have recently began learning how to weld with my agriculture class.  I am an officer in my 4H group and have raised a pen of three broilers for 8 years to show at the county fair.  I also participate in various church organizations and serve as an altar boy.  If your program can use an athletic, coachable, driven and focused player that is capable of maintaining high academics while giving maximum effort to training for success, then I would value an opportunity to visit with you or your organization.
