My name is Jake Dyer. I am a 6' 196lb starting runningback and inside linebacker. I am four year starter on the varsity football team. As a freshman and sophomore, I was the starting fullback and backup runningback as well as played linebacker at both the inside and outside positions. As a freshman, I received Honorable Mention outside linebacker for my district as well as unanimous first-team all district fullback my sophomore year. As the starting Running Back my junior year I was voted all state honorable mention and rushed for over 2100 yards. I was voted by my fellow teammates and coaches as a team captain and consider myself to be a team player. My goals as an athlete are to be coachable and do what is required of me in order for the team's success. As well as being an athlete, I am a current member of the National Honor Society as well as a leader of the FCA program (Fellowship for Christian Athletes) at my high school. I currently maintain a 4.26 GPA and I'm not only a student of the classroom but a student of the game. I hope to continue to improve my skills by visiting camps and combines as well as visiting universities and school campuses. I believe that I would make a good addition to any team looking for a hard-worker and good teammate both on the football field and in the classroom. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to this new opportunity in my athletic and academic endeavors.
