I would love to have the opportunity to play a sport that I love during my college career. I do plan to complete a four year degree. Overall, my plan is to use my athletic abilities to help pay for my school so that I can go to school and learn how to provide for a family. I am a good student, and I plan to keep that going. I have a 4.0 through high school thus far and intend to do what it takes to keep that up. Aside from my athletics, I hold a part time job doing farm work. I am a great finisher, I have an honor called an Eagle Scout, I worked hard on that award for several years until I accomplished my goal. I play multiple sports and I give all I have to each of them. I have played football since 5th grade, and I have loved it the whole time. I also play basketball. I have played on several traveling club basketball teams as well as playing for my high school; I believe that playing basketball has helped my football as well. I learn things from basketball that I am able to apply to football. I am proud to be a multi sport athlete. I am active in my church, and my faith is important to me. I believe that god gave me a strong body and I have committed to myself and to god to never do drugs, drink alcohol, or do anything possibly harmful in that way to my body. My freshman year I was elected by my peers to serve in student government as freshman representative. It was an honor to be the voice for my classmates, and I enjoyed that leadership opportunity.
