Personal Statement
Coaches,
Here is a little bit about me... I come from a single parent home where I am the oldest of 5 children. I hold the title "Man of the House" by watching my younger siblings, helping around the house, and mowing the lawn (when there aren't any snakes). I enjoy being a big brother because I can help my brothers and sister excel in sports, school, and life. I've been able to help them through some tough times we've experienced. I told them, "Life will get easier, but sometimes it does get harder first." When hard times come, and they do come, I try my best to stay positive, make the best of the situation, and see what I can do to help others around me who might be in need.
When I'm not playing football or baseball, or helping around the house, I love being in the outdoors. I enjoy hunting, shooting, and four wheeling. I also enjoy visiting my aunt in Florida. There, I help her around her ranch and spend time on the beach and in the ocean.
I am a hard worker. When someone tells me I can't achieve something I really want, I work that much harder to prove to myself that I can do anything if I really put my might, heart and soul into it. I have always wanted to play college football and hope to one day make that dream a reality. You know you love football when your mom tells you it was your first word!
