Cormac Boyer '20 Recruiting Profile

I am 17 years old and a Senior at Roy High School in Roy, Utah.  I will graduate in the Spring of 2020.  I am taking Concurrent Enrollment classes at Weber State.  I should graduate high school with enough college credits to be within a Semester or two of my Associates Degree. 

The offensive system I have been involved in, is multi-faceted.  Depending on the team we face, we will operate out of the shotgun spread look and throw the ball or we will line up in a more traditional pro style formation and run the football.  I feel very comfortable and believe I can succeed in either format.

School is first and foremost.  My cumulative GPA is 3.66.   However, my passion and our family's passion is Football. My father, Darren Boyer was a 1st Team All-Conference Linebacker at Fresno State. My grandfather, Craig Boyer was an All-Conference Defensive Back at Utah State. My uncle, Brant Boyer is on the Ring of Honor at the University of Arizona and played twelve years in the NFL and is currently the Special Teams coach for the NY Jets.  My uncle Chase Boyer, played football at Utah State.  My older Brother Kayne Boyer Played college football as well.

I have always dreamed of playing college football. I'm working hard to get bigger, stronger and faster.  Watching my uncles and my brother play in college and the NFL have impressed upon me the dedication and hard work it will take to succeed and play at the next level. I am excited and welcome the challenge.

I have put in a lot of hard work and I will continue to do so.  As a team, we were able to get to the Semi Finals this year.  I went head to head with multiple players with offers from PAC 12 Schools.  Some of my best games were against these caliber of players.  I know I can compete and succeed against quality competition!  As a Senior I want to "take the next step", play in the State Finals and win the State Championship!  It is my lifelong dream to graduate college and play football.
