Mason Young '21 Recruiting Profile

    I have always had a passion for football even though I also play basketball and run track I also wrestle. I love the physicality of it and have been told I have a high football IQ. I started playing little league football when I was 7 years old and have many great memories including a 24 game winning streak and 2 age group State Championships. Football has developed me into the person I am today.  It has shown me that even when things are difficult and you second guess what you can accomplish you can push through and reach your goals.

    I have been raised by my grandparents since I was 8 years old.  And they have had a profound influence on my academics, athletics along with molding my personality.  They have taught me the importance of serving others through their humanitarian work in Africa. I have grandfathers, uncles, and aunts that have played college football, soccer, and basketball and I would love the opportunity to carry on that family tradition. A college degree will open up doors that will put me on a path for success for the rest of my life.
