Carson Ransdell '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carson Ransdell. I am a highly motivated, hardworking, student, son, friend, and person in our community. I have a passion for playing football and baseball. I am 6’ 2” and weigh 215 pounds and run 4.6 40 yard dash. I currently play football and baseball for Bingham High School. I have played football for 10 years, winning numerous championships. I have experience playing many positions including offense (wide receiver, fullback, tight end, running back) and defense (linebacker, outside linebacker, safety, defensive lineman). While playing football for Bingham High School I have played wide receiver, full back, tight end, inside linebacker, and outside linebacker. Last year I played defense as the inside linebacker and outside linebacker. For my senior year at Bingham High School, because of my experience, the coaches asked me to go back to offense playing wide receiver/TE for the betterment of our team. I have always been a versatile and coachable player and have earned the starting wide receiver position for my 2022 season. My highlight video is updated through my current season where I have been the starter all season.

I am also a versatile player in that I play dual sports. I have played baseball my entire life and have played on the Bingham High School baseball team since I was a freshman. I am one of our top hitters and have played several positions to include out field, short stop, 3rd base, catcher, and am pitcher. 

My greatest strength has always been I work very hard. I believe working hard is what earns you positions and greater things in life. I am a good student carrying a cumulative GPA of a 3.0. I am scheduled to take my ACT December 11, 2021. I have participated in community service activities and events and enjoy all sports (mostly football and baseball). I have played baseball equally as long as football.  I enjoy spending time with my family and the outdoors such as hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling.
