Personal Statement
In the spring of 2015, I moved to St.George, Virginia to attend Blue Ridge School, an all boys boarding college preparatory school for a more challenging academic curriculum, competitive sports and to become a successful leader. As a starting junior quarterback my team went 8-3 and I was nominated All-Central Virginia Football Defense 2nd team LB, 2015 All-Old Dominion Football Conference 1st team QB and 1st team LB and 2015 VISAA Division II All State 1st team LB and 2nd team QB.
I am interested in attending a college where I can find the right balance between football and academics. My desire is to pursue my education, life objectives and the experience to play football at the next level. While in college I want to pursue new experiences by joining clubs, contributing to the college community and learning and networking among a diverse pool of other students and athletes.
My dreams, hopes, aspirations and goals are what drive me to succeed. I am a strong-arm athlete with the physical tools to play both sides of the ball. I have speed as a runner showing quickness and mobility within the pocket. I see the field with great vision, reading and understanding the defensive coverages/strategies since I play offense and defense. Under duress I am able to maintain field vision, keep a natural smooth throwing motion and play with a constant calm composure. I am a loyal teammate that displays good work ethic and I treat people the way I want to be treated. I care about the well-being of my teammates and develop positive relationships with them and the coaches. I have a passion for football and a desire to learn, which always makes me a very coachable athlete. My teammates respect me because they see me always putting the effort in and encouraging my teammates to do the same. At all times I am accountable for my actions and maintain control in the most pressurized situations.
I look forward to attending an college that will challenge me academically, while allowing me to develop my athletic abilities, all the while encouraging me to succeed as a productive member of society.
