Personal Statement
My name is Rick Lanahan Jr. and I attend Alleghany High School in Covington, VA. My current positions on varsity football are: running back and middle linebacker. I have played organized football since I was 7 years old. I love the game. My never give up attitude, discipline, and football knowledge has inspired younger children in my area, to play sports to the best of their abilities. That makes me proud to be associated with the game of football. I bring an extremely high positive attitude to the football field and the players around me. I would like to further my education and play football at the collegiate level. The degree I am striding for is in the field of physical training/sports science.
If I could, I would play every down, on every facet of the game. All I would like to have is an opportunity... one... to show any college or university, what I am capable of. All I have ever dreamed is to play football, If I'm giving that opportunity... whoever is giving me that, I WILL NOT LET THEM DOWN!
