Patrick Maupin '14 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Patrick Maupin and I am an rising Senior for Western Albemarle High School in Virginia. My high school is located in central Virginia and we compete in the Jefferson District.

     First i would like to talk about my accomplishments in football and academics. For football i lettered as a Freshman on Varsity and as a Sophomore i started both ways and was a Team Captain. As a Sophomore I was a First Team All-District player, First Team All-Count, and Second Team All-Area. I also attended the NUC combines Freshman year and was the strongest man at the regional state combine and i was invited to the U100 camp which is the best players from each region of the U.S. From there i was invited to the Top Prospect Development Camp in which i could not attend due to the lack of money for transportation. As a Sophomore i attended another state regional combine for NUC and was once again invited to the U100 camp which i do not plan on attending. As a Sophomore i was also invited to the NUC All-American Game. In terms of academics, i am in many honors courses maintaining a 3.14 GPA. I was an academic all star in the VDBL basketball league in 8th grade as well.

     My goals for high school in terms of sports are to play college football at the next level and highest possible level. I hope to get an All region/ All State bid after my Junior year and my senior year as well. I would prefer to attend a college in the bordering states of Virginia but i am interested in any college of interest.

     For academics i want to get my GPA to at least a 3.4 and maintain A,B honor roll Junior and Senior year. Also i want to score a very high SAT so i could qualify for as many colleges as possible. My ultimate goal is to get a free education and be successful using football to get me there.
