Personal Statement
I have been playing Football for 5 years. I excel at quickness and speed. My best asset though are my exceptionally sure hands. I am also nimble and my strong base helps me stay on my feet during contact. Football is my passion and when I am not playing for High School, I play 7 on 7. I also played 2 years of travel 7 on 7. I tripled the reception record in the past 6 years at my HS. I was first string on our undefeated Freshman and JV team. I lettered as a Sophomore and Junior and started as first string my Junior year. I also played Baseball for 7 years. I played every position except 1st base. I hit 3 home runs in one season where we won a championship and pitched to win in another championship. I also played on a travel team for 5 years.
I am hardworking and very respectful to my teammates and coaches. I am highly respected by my peers, teachers and of course coaches. Due to this, I was elected to be part of the Sources of Strength program to help at risk students who are depressed and suicidal. I work hard at my academics and consider myself a perfectionist.
I am looking to be part of a college team where I can develop my football talents and be an asset to my team, college, peers and community. I enjoy Astronomy and Psychology and hope to pursue a career in either of these majors.
I am very dedicated and am working out hard on my own during the shutdowns.
