My name is Alijah Christian Harris. I am a senior at George C. Marshall High School. I’m 6’ and weigh 255 pounds with a 2.7 gpa and 1070 SAT. My goal is to end high school with at least a 3.0 GPA and I want to become an Engineer by time I graduate College. One day I hope to own my own business and be self employed. My goal for my football career is to earn a full scholarship and become a captain of the team that gives me a chance to play for them.I started watching sports in 2010 and I fell in love with Troy Polamalu and the Steelers. Football interested me because of the contact and the fact that men of all sizes are valued by the team.
I mainly played defensive tackle and I also took a lot of snaps at defensive end as well. This year I was awarded first teams all-district and second team all-region at the end of the season. For the first three years of high school I mostly played defensive end, but I also took snaps on offense at tight end and fullback. After this last season I realized how important it is to listen to ever word a coach tells me to help my game get better, always practice and play like someone is going to take your spot, a coach's attitude can strongly effect their players, and only play football if you're enjoying yourself.
