Nicholas Goodman '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi,

My name is Nick Goodman, I am currently a sophomore at Honaker High School in Honaker, VA. I started playing football during my freshman year, and I am currently my varsity teams starting kicker/punter. I am a multi-sport player, starting on both my football and soccer varsity teams. I became interested in football my 8th grade year when my JV soccer coach encouraged me to try kicking field goals for the upcoming football season. I have learned that I am more willing to challenge myself from playing football. From the early morning weight lifting sessions, to the grueling two-a-day practices during the hot summer, I have bettered myself and become a whole different athlete than before. I am willing to do whatever tasks my coaches ask of me. I have made so many new friends through football that I would have never before. When I am not playing sports, I am focusing on my academics. I am a straight A student, and take learning very seriously. I am currently a member of the FBLA. I want to attend a college that will still challenge me both athletically and academically. I am open to all levels of college and hope to find the right one to fit my match. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
