Private Long Snapping Lessons with Mark Carttrell from ProKicker: https://www.prokicker.com/ohio-private-long-snapping-instruction-lessons-marc-cattrell
I began playing Football at an early age. I started with Flag at age 6 then quickly moved into tackle by age 8 playing for our local community league (Central Loudoun Youth Football League). I then challenged myself and played for the War Eagles, a Grassroots travel football league, during middle school (both spring and fall)and we played many tough teams from Maryland and DC. I have a passion for football and especially for my position which is center and long snapper. Each year I continue to grow and perfect my position. In fact, during my Freshman year at Tuscarora High School, I played all three levels, Freshman, JV and Varsity. During my Freshman year, I was the long snapper for JV and Varsity. I was also the starting Center for Freshman and Sophomore years will continue to fight for that position as I enter my Junior year and play on the Varsity team. I am dedicated and committed to the game of football. My long term goal is to play at a collegiate level and one day for the NFL. I understand that grades also matter. During middle school I was consistently being honored for A/B honor roll every quarter and have been recognized several times for character and citizenship awards. In fact, at the end of my 5th grade year, a teacher submitted my name for the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen award and I received it. I was the only one recognized and I felt very honored. This award recognizes individuals who possess the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism at home, in school and in the community. I am currently holding and maintaining a 3.9/4.0 GPA. I also enjoy playing Basketball and participate every year in our community basketball league. My long term goals are straightforward: (1) Study hard and get a 4.0 GPA when I graduate high school, (2) Go to college, (3) Play Football, (4) Earn a degree in Engineering or Mathematics and (5) Work as hard as I can to someday be able to play for the NFL. I appreciate and love my family, friends, teachers and community. I will always work hard to do better. That's a promise I make for myself.
