Jamahrie Owens '21 Recruiting Profile

Playing football at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine since I was three years old. When I was younger, I used to line up my figurines in formations and I created my own very own playbook. I started out my career in flag football at the age of 7 and my love for game continued to grow  season after season. The values of teamwork, dedication, perseverance, honor, and integrity are imbedded in my soul and it is actually all that I know.  Every Coach that I have had the pleasure to play for has always commented on my loyalty and dependability as well as my ability to adapt to whatever position they needed me to play which has consistently set me apart from peers.  My goal is to attend a University in which I can be an asset to the football program, continuing my love for the game, and in turn receive a valuable education that will further prepare me for a career in some aspect of applied health and rehabilitation services. I would like  to make a positive impact within my community by helping others take care of their bodies and health.
