Personal Statement
Growing up wasn’t always easy! Almost everyone doubted me. I remember times where i thought i couldn’t keep pushing, and i kept fighting telling myself i don’t need anyone to believe in me i will get through this. Then the fighting, blood, sweat, and tears i put into this game i love so much payed off! My ninth grade year I came in and took a seniors position at middle linebacker! I don’t need anyone to give anything to me if i want it i will take it, and that is a promise.
I became interested in this sport when i was four years old. My cousin saw me playing backyard football and tackling and throwing my cousins that were my age. He proceeded to get my father and showed him. Next thing i knew i was playing flag football for a youth team called the Kanawha Redskins.
Academically i am strong. But a personal goal for me is to get a 3.8 or higher. I feel as if i CAN do it. I can do anything i put my mind to. That was one thing my parents taught me growing up. That is the best thing they ever taught me!
