The reason I play football is because of the love and drive I have for the game. It isn’t a game that is easy to learn or is simple to maneuver. It takes time, effort, and dedication to be decent at football. To me, personally, football teaches life lessons and is my number one stress reliever. Playing football in college has always been a goal for me because I want to extend my career as far as possible. Football also keeps a student athlete on top of their school and life priorities by teaching responsibility, accountability, and dedication.
Nobody from my family has played in college sports, so it would be a great accomplishment for me individually and for my family. An athletic goal I have is to be a great team player and leader. I have been a leader and a follower on my high school sports teams since a freshman, so I would be suitable to handle any position for teams available for me. Personal academic goals for me is to graduate high school, and graduate college with my GPA higher than my high school GPA. I am pursuing to major in marine biology to further my knowledge on the marine life happening today. The academic and athletic challenges are exciting to me because they prepare me for real life scenarios. It strengthens me mentally and physically everyday.
