Personal Statement
While I have been playing football since the third grade, my love for the game really began my last year of little league when I started to play as a linebacker. Two years later during my freshman year, I was the first freshman at my school to play in a state championship game. That game will always be a highlight of my football career. Even after winning the State Championship game my sophomore year, I have learned from my Coach that in order to be successful, each player is equally important and we all have to do our jobs to the best of our ability for each play.
My goal is to be able to play football as long as possible at a school where I can be successful academically. It’s also important to me to be able to play for a coaching staff that will be supportive for my whole college experience and that I can build a relationship with. I am very coachable and energetic and am able to help keep my teammates excited during a game. My leadership abilities would be an asset both on and off the field.
