Personal Statement
Like many athletes, I have persevered through injuries and seen the incredible work health professionals have done to bring hope back to a broken body. This has sparked my career ambition of becoming a physical therapist.
I am an Eagle Scout and my path of Boy Scouts has taught me about leadership and has built a foundation for the values I live each day. As an FFA member for the past five years, I am a two time Virginia state champion for Agricultural Mechanics, have held officer positions for two years and represented my chapter at four Virginia state FFA conventions. I am an avid outdoorsman who loves camping, hiking and hunting with my Dad and Grandfather. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
I train rigorously year round, lifting weights before and after school, and attending team bonding sessions. I speed train during the spring and work out on my own as time permits. I am careful with my nutrition (adding and cutting weight throughout the year as needed) and disciplined about my sleep patterns so that I can be a high performing student and athlete.
