John (Trey) Bell '14 Recruiting Profile

Update 11/26 / 2013  My  football Team is Stuarts Draft High School a VA division 3A School is 7 & 4 this season and went to the state regional playoff!  In the season at RB / CB, I have 1077 total yards in 137 carries and 13 TD's at offensive halfback.  70 tackles and 4 interception and 4 blocked passes at strong side corner back.  Please note I have updated my video highlights to include the first 3 games of the 2013 season!  Congratulations go out to the whole team for our great season to date, Go Draft!!!!

For the 2013 season I was recognized by WHSV (ABC Harrisonburg TV Station) "Play of the Week" (week one), "Player of the Week" (week seven) and "Hit of the Week" (week ten).  I was also selected as 1st. Team Defensive back West region 3A and Shenandoah Valley District, 1st Team Defensive Back all Conference and recognized with an honorable mention at offensive Half Back.  I was the recipient of the Dave Branch Scholarship Award.

For my varsity career at Stuarts Draft Highs School I hold the most games played and the most consecutive games played at 47 games.  I played and started in every regular and post season game since I was a Freshmen at the age of 13!

I am a 6’0”  185 lb free safety and running back from Stuarts Draft, VA. I am a Senior and have started on the Stuarts Draft High School varsity team for 4 years. I earned 2nd team all-district DB 2A, 2nd team all-district DB, RB 1A, 1st team all-district DB 1A, and honorable mention DB 1A. For the 2013 season I averaged 8.2 yards per carry with a total of 950 yards in 116 carries.  On defense I had 24 open field tackles and 58 assists for a total of 82 tackles.  I currently have a 4.4 GPA completion of my junior year and a 3.8 cumulative GPA.

I would like to pursue an institution that focuses on excelling both in the classroom and on the field. I am interested in a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of business management. I would ideally like to join a team in which I would have an immediate impact, however I am willing to do whatever is in the best interest for the team as a whole. Ideally, I desire to attend a school in the Mid Atlantic region at the DI level with a great “college town” atmosphere.  I am open to any size enrollment, large or small.
