Personal Statement
The biggest highlight of my sophomore year was being apart of a JV team that went 9-0 with 8 straight outs. However, the biggest takeaway from my sophomore season was my playing time on varsity, and learning what it takes to play at the varsity level. This experience has helped me grow mentally, and has also taught me what I needed to do in the weight room as well. I have been able to refocus my efforts on becoming a student athlete capable of playing at the college level.
In looking for a college, I look for a program that is a good fit athletically as well as academically. I believe that I have the talent to compete for a college team because of my work ethic, commitment, and willingness to do my job. I know what it means to be beat, but I also know what it means to come back stronger. Given the opportunity to compete, I know I can make an immediate and positive impact on your team.
