Personal Statement
My family is a family of athletes. My uncle played Division I-A basketball, my sister played Division I-A volleyball, and my father played Division I-A Football. I fell in love with the game when I realized what I could do and the freedom I felt when I scored a touchdown or got a sack. One of the highlights of my career was probably playing in the Junior Academic All-American game. That game was a reality check for me. After seeing some kids get scholarship offers that day I knew I had to work harder than them. I've always tried to lead by example, and I am a vocal leader as well. As a sophomore on my Varsity team I was often looked as a leader on the defensive side of the ball despite my age. I hope that through my college experience I am propelled forward to become a better man and scholar, to ultimately follow my dreams. In the classroom I constantly push myself despite being at the 2nd best Christian High School in Virginia academically. I can mesh with people well and I am able to play many positions due to my size and athletic ability. I can fit most any scheme and team so I'll be a great fit!
