Personal Statement
Playing Football for 6 years with our Junior League the Newport Knights and having a losing records 5 out of those 6 years builds a character. It builds a character that is Humble, Hungry and Talented. I do my best to keep my character strong on the field, in the classroom and at home.
Being the oldest of 10 kids humbles me to be a better athlete, a better person, and a better brother everyday. Losing every game in 2017 helped me focus on what I really need to improve on. Training all off season and coming into the next season hungry and angry. Coming into the 2018 season with a whole different mind set helped me improve not only on the field and be the only person to play both side and all positions had build my confidence and ability to be versatile, but also helped my keep focus on my school work and be more appreciative of what I have at home.
I was fortunate enough to be nominated by my teammates to Win offensive MVP and Defensive MVP in 2015 and 2016. In 2017-19 I won my teams MVP 3 years straight nominated by the coaches of the team. Being nominated for all these awards taught me the values of Teamwork, Commitment, Leadership, and Humbleness. When I look at programs I look for programs that fit me athletically and academically too. I know I am 1 out of a thousand of athletes out there competing for a college scholarship. Knowing that through Character, Work ethic, and Leadership I am sure to make an intimidate impact on your program in and off the field as well!
