Jared Philips '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Jared Philips.  I am a football player and senior at Blaine High School. My college goals are to play football and graduate with a degree in the medical field. The end of my Junior season of football was when I really started to consider that it was possible for me to play at the next level. Since then I have showed that I can work very hard in the off-season and have put in a lot of time and dedication to focusing on football. For example when the season ended mid November I was barely above 200 pounds; I am currently 235 pounds, and it was all for making myself a better football player. I  am also a very good student.  I have a cumulative 3.3 GPA. With that being said, my Junior year classes consisted of pre-calculus and three AP classes.  I have become a leader to the younger players in our program, especially on the offensive line.  I am looking forward to playing at the next level.
