My name is Hayden Burnham, I go to Riverside High School in Washington state. I am a three sport varsity athlete since my freshmen year, I play football, basketball, and soccer. The sport I feel I am the most qualified for a scholarship is football, I am the starting left tackle on offense. I want to get a degree in Education so I can be a history teacher. I am willing to give every second of my time to working on the field and in the classroom.
I am in the Honors English class and next year I will be in the AP history and English classes. I am committed to showing my personal values and beliefs in all that I do, I try to fill needed leadership roles when possible. For example, I saw a need for student participation in boosting school spirit at our high school and to help with this task, I decided to run for an ASB class officer position. Next year, I will serve my class as the junior class treasurer.
In conclusion, I hope to be a college level athlete to maintain my leadership capabilities, feed my athletic passions and goals, and pursue my goal of becoming an educator and coach in my future by becoming a college graduate.
