Personal Statement

I started out in soccer at age 6 and loved playing.  Through the years I advanced up in Select club divisions and developed my kicking skills.  It wasn't until Jr. high that I started playing football and found a new focus.  To date, I have played football for three seasons.  In Jr. high I was primary kicker  while we went undefeated as District Champions.  As a Freshman in high school I was primary kicker for c team and we were able to come through season again undefeated District Champions. That season I was credited with 41 points.  My sophomore year, I played two games as the primary jv kicker before tearing my patella tendon in my knee. So I spent most my time supporting on the sidelines, in the weight room or studying at home. Junior year I was the primary kicker for Graham Kapowsin varsity football.  Senior year I achieved 61/64 points and 8/9 field goals.  We made State Playoffs the past 3 years making it to quarter finals each years.  Off the feild I currently am enrolled in Pierce Community college as a running start student. And have a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 with AP/Honors classes.  I am very hardworking, dedicated and confident in my abilities both on the field and off.  I am interested in a college that will help me achieve my athletic as well as my academic goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
