Personal Statement
My name is Andrew Monlux and my biggest goal is I really want to continue to play football and to learn as much as I can. I want to see how far I can take it and then use that knowledge and experience in my daily life. I love being on a team and the comradeship that brings. I would like to help young people like myself in the future reach their fullest potential. I want to be the player you can go to.
It is my senior year and we have just finished . We made it to the state sweet 16 where we lost to Burlington Edison by 13-3. I have been playing starting defensive end and left tackle. I have had a solid impact on special teams having 3 blocked kicks 1 punt block and 2 field goal blocks 1 of which was the tie breaking kick in our first playoff game sealing our win. My arm was injured half way through the season making me miss 1 game but I have been playing since waiting for the end of the season to get checked up and begin lifting hard again. I have a 76 ½” wing span and 10” hands. I have a longer video on HUDL if you are interested in viewing more plays. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/519195/andrew-monlux.

I am focused on increasing all of my body strength through after hour’s weight training. I will continue attending the Barton Academy’s Elite camps to increase my skills. I will be taking the ACT this year to improve my score from my last years SAT tests. Business/Sports management is my main interest to pursue in after high-school education.
