Personal Statement
Ever since I was little I have loved football and every thing about the game. Going to the varsity games as a little kid was something to look forward to every week. The coach invited me to be the water boy when I was in 5th grade and the team made it to the quarter finals before losing out. After seeing my role models reactions from losing that game, my goal became to make it to the State Championship and win that big game. As a freshman our head coach talked to us and told us about goals for the team and individual goals. I told him that I wanted to play football in college and he said ok we got to get started. After my sophomore year he told me he wanted me to make the switch from RB to QB and I thought about it for maybe a second and accepted. After a hard off-season and great season our team finished the year in the semifinals for the first time in 30 years and brought home a third place trophy. Now my goal is to win a state title in my senior year and do whatever it takes to get recruited to play football at the next level. I strive to get better every day wether it be in the classroom or out on the field.
As a three-sport athlete, I have competed at the state level in football, basketball and state regional round of baseball. I take pride in my hard work in sports, but also in academics. I take high level courses such as; English, Pre-Calculus, and chemistry. I have a GPA of 3.88. I am also involved in many extra-curricular activities such as ASB Representative, Honor Society, and Interhigh Representative.
